The most powerful beauty accessory you can possess is free and at your disposal. It is a spirit and love that comes from within, it is BELLAME.
If we tallied up all the time spent during our average day comparing ourselves to others, we might realize how absurd it really is. In fact, consciously or subconsciously, we do it more than we realize. Log on to social media or tune into your favorite T.V. show and it is inevitable. There is someone that might be thinner, more athletic, curlier hair, blue eyes, or whatever the opposite of who we are and those comparisons eat away little by little at our confidence.
That is why it is critical that we take the time to marvel at the beauty that is YOU! We were all made beautiful, just the way we are.

I can remember flipping through magazines, wishing I was 5’10, with straight hair, and a button nose. It wasn’t until my mid 30’s that I learned to appreciate and love who I was made to be. After giving birth to three beautiful babies, I was impressed at what my body could accomplish. It was then that I began to have a different perspective on what makes us beautiful.
Now, I embrace all my features. They bring me pride and remind me of the generations of incredible people that I call my family. I love that I have a smile and eyes identical to my mothers. I love that I carry the spirit of both my grandmothers and it is written all over my face. Even more incredible is to see my resemblance in my children.
As I approach the final few years in my fifth decade, I am more than comfortable and even sassy in my own skin. Loving myself so that I can love others with all my heart.
