Workout for Radiant Skin

Workout for Radiant Skin

Don’t Miss Out on this Critical Skincare Benefit!

We all know that a good sweaty workout does more for us than just burning calories. For many of us, that same boost in adrenaline and circulation lifts our mood, clears our head, and gives us energy. And as if that wasn’t enough, your complexion could reap some serious glow action as well.

As WebMD states “By increasing blood flow, exercise helps nourish skin cells and keep them vital. Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to working cells throughout the body, including the skin,” says Marmur. In addition to providing oxygen, blood flow also helps carry away waste products, including free radicals, from working cells. Contrary to some claims, exercise doesn’t detoxify the skin. The job of neutralizing toxins belongs mostly to the liver. “But by increasing blood flow, a bout of exercise helps flush cellular debris out of the system,” Marmur tells WebMD. “You can think of it as cleansing your skin from the inside.”

I have experienced some incredible facials in my life. But nothing has ever given me the vibrant glow and fresh face that my skincare workout boost delivers. Whenever I have a big event, I try to leave plenty of time before getting ready for what I refer to as my Workout.

I start with anything aerobic. For me, it is usually a good run. Next, I cleanse thoroughly and apply my favorite mask for about 20 minutes. After rinsing top it all off with a hydrating moisturizer to seal it all in! I love how smooth my skin feels after this little ritual, and the glow on my face is worth every ounce of effort! It is my favorite way to get a freshly primed face, the perfect primer for my makeup routine.

Cheers,
