A Glimpse into My Busy but Blissful Drawer
For my fellow makeup lovers, this site might be all too familiar. For those who are not quite this enthusiastic about what seems to be a disorganized makeup drawer, trust me it is all good. I actually know where everything is. I lovingly refer to this as my organized chaos. I might not be able to remember where I left the car keys this morning, but I always know exactly where in this pile to look for my favorite blush. However, this is only my current favs. I have another two containers filled to the brim under my sink of products that I am sure I will need any day now.
Now to some, it might not make any sense how one person could need this much makeup. Just like we have outfits for different occasions; this girl has palette shades for every mood. Oh, and do I have many moods. Eyeshadows, Lipsticks there are so many colors to choose from, but skip the makeup counter advice and listen to what Coco Chanel said, “The best color in the whole world, is the one that looks good, on you!”
My love for makeup goes far beyond pretty colors and matching moods. I love the way it accentuates a woman’s beauty and the confidence it can give. And as much as I enjoy discovering new makeup and feeling pampered as I indulge in its application, I love my days with ponytail hair and a fresh bare face. Although my makeup drawer gets a little lonely on those days, my skincare drawer well that is a whole other story.
