I Initially purchased just one of these brushes to see if I would like it. I ended up loving it. I am picky about my brushes because they make a difference, especially on my finicky skin. I use this brush not only for applying blush but also for applying foundation (the reason for needing two). The bristles are so soft that they do not irritate my skin & my foundation turns out nice and smooth. They do not soak up my foundation, it all goes on my face, so that is a big plus!
